Welcome to Nene Hutke
Nene Hutke is a place for worship and learning the Muskogee way. Its members are comprised mainly of Muskogee mixed-bloods, but it is open to all. Nene Hutke is not a tribe, nation, band, village, or clan -- but a traditional Muskogee Square Ground conducting traditional ceremonies. We believe the Creator gave the Muskogee people the Square Ground, the Sacred Fire, the Medicines, and the Ceremonies for special worship.
Are you interested in attending a ceremony or Nene Hutke event? Then visit our Events page to learn more about upcoming activities and Membership page to learn more about visiting for the first time.
We also publish a monthly newsletter containing announcements about upcoming ceremonies, Muskogee history, language, local events, and other information. Click here to sign-up and begin receiving your monthly copy.

Like us on Facebook to receive Muskogee tidbits about all sorts of interesting things. For example, did you know about the ancient belief that the well-being of the Creeks as a people is dependent upon the sincere, dutiful observance of the Square Ground Ceremonies - particularly, the high holidays?
